We can test all Class 4 vehicles

Class 4 vehicles include:

    Cars with up to 8 passenger seats
    Motor Caravans
    3 wheeled vehicles over 450Kg unladen weight
    Quads with a maximum unladen weight of 400Kg and a max. net power of 15KW
    Dual purpose vehicles
    Private Hire Vehicles and PSVs with up to 8 seats
    Goods vehicles up to 3,000Kg DGW
    Ambulances and Taxis
    Private Passenger vehicles and Ambulances with 9-12 passenger seats

When does my vehicle need to be tested?

We can carry out an MOT test on your vehicle up to a month prior to the expiration of your current certificate. You will need to provide us with your existing certificate at the time of the test. If your vehicle passes then a new certificate will be issued which will be valid for 12 months from the expiration date of your existing certificate.

What we check during a Car MOT test

An MOT provides for a basic check of a vehicle to verify that it meets a minimum standard of roadworthiness as required by law. It is not the same as a maintenance service of the vehicle. The law requires that certain elements of your car are checked during an MOT. These include:

    Permanent display of a Vehicle Identification Number
    Condition, security, legibility and format of the registration plate
    Lights, Steering and Suspension
    Windscreen, Wipers and Washers, Horn & Seatbelts, Vehicle structure, Doors & Mirrors
    Fuel System & Exhaust System, Brakes, Wheels and Tyres

What if there are any problems and my vehicle does not pass?

If there are any problems with your vehicle that prevent it from passing we can undertake the necessary repairs for you to get you back on the road as soon as possible.
